Hello February! Time has gone so fast. The first month of 2015 finished in a blink of an eye and then it is a month of Valentine’s. January was a month of business and a hectic life, so I want to start February with an update of some fashion to my wardrobe. Normally I’m a fan of casual style that we can wear in everyday life, not only focusing on its comfort and longevity but also sophistication and elegance. In this case, Uniqlo is one of the brands that I wear quite often and it’s essential for my classic staples. Not only because of their affordable price but also that I can always mix & match and wear them in almost any casual or casual-business occasion. Interestingly, from my survey of asking almost every guy I befriended with, 1 of 3 of them said that Uniqlo is the brand he buys the most. So it makes me wonder how much possibilities the girls and the guys can admire things from one brand at the same time and exchange things in their closet, just like me and boyfriend do.
So, for a month of love, I’m inspired by this concept of the fresh exchange, to swap clothes between men-women, borrowing boyfriend’s things. Here I edited the ultimate 10-12 piece casual wardrobe style for two. One for him and one for her, possibly as a Valentine’s gift guide for your couple, a gift that you guys can exchange to wear for the next months or years (Thanks to the oversized trend that dominate fashion now.) In this Uniqlo S/S 2015 collection, there are some similar styles for both women and men’s collection, like the oxford shirt, the denim shirt, the checked pattern shirt, the sweat full-zip hoodie and the striped T-shirt. Try mixing textures like extra fine cotton, cotton jersey, cashmere, chinos, and leather accessories to give a dimension to a simple look. I know we all love neutrals, but It would be nice to add some pop colours for this Valentine’s atmosphere. Mix these casual classic styles with a red accessories or a glimpse of pink as a key thing to update the look for the timeless fashion couples.
Last, I bet not everybody wants to follow the Korean matchy matchy couple look outfits, right? So, why not try the same silhouettes in the bottoms like wearing the same fit trousers in similar colour, oxford shirts with the neutral colors, or ‘You wear pink on top, I wear pink on bottoms’ kind of things. If you not have any ideas no worries, here I pick up some of my favourite couple’s casual street style inspiration that can apply to everyday, not just a Valentine’s.
